Is there an age limit?
No – we cater for all age groups. Children are more than welcome and our own children sometimes come on selected trips.
We had an 80th birthday party trip to Carlingford last summer. Birthday boy had a helicopter ride for his previous birthday and said we won for fun, hands down.
Do you ever cancel trips?
Yes – should we consider the weather conditions unsuitable for travel then we would cancel.
Your safety is our main concern. We do of course refund all deposits in this situation.
How much luggage can we take?
It’s always better to discuss this one with Rhonda in advance. Normal luggage permittable. Additional luggage like the kitchen sink etc. by prior arrangement only.
Will we see dolphins, seals etc?
Quite possibly, depending on your destination. The Irish Sea fortunately has an abundance of wildlife. Last summer, Basking Shark were seen daily on approach to the Isle of Man.
Can I take my dog?
This depends on the other passengers. Although Brutus might be a loveable pet to you, others may not agree and even Brutus may not fancy the trip. It’s best to ring Rhonda about this one.
Do you have safety equipment?
Yes – we carry full safety equipment. Before departing on every trip the Coast Guard is informed and we remain in constant contact with them and the shore base.
We receive constant weather forecasts and sea conditions. There is always a crew member available to advise you.
What if I suffer from sea sickness?
Out of approximately 2,000 passengers there has only been one incidence of sea sickness. This excellent record is down to the design of the boat and its steady, non rolling movement through the water.
If you are concerned about motion sickness we suggest you contact your local pharmacist beforehand and they will suggest the appropriate medication for you.
